// I’m passionate about

  • Bringing good design to life – Translating beautiful digital creations to a web space can be tricky, but I relish the challenge. Clean, efficient, and reliable code that can structure, define, and breathe life into a design is what I love to do.
  • Responsiveness – What’s a good design strategy if it won;t work on a mobile phone? The web has changed and they way people view a website is incredibly varied in today’s world. Accommodating every viewport and device is essential to the user experience.
  • Reading – is it a lost art? I tend to think so, and I admit I lose them from time to time as well. But finding a good book after so many hours in front of a screen is a welcome reprieve from our fast world. I’m always looking for the next escape.
  • Food – I’m not a picky eater. I’ll try anything and chances are I’ll probably enjoy it (unless it’s mushroom). I just love food! Every part of the world has a unique piece of identity to offer us in its food, and I want to experience them all.

// What I’ve Done

  • Web Development for New Culture Media and See Seven – Building awesome websites that bring translates people’s identity to the WWW.
  • Mental Health Specialist at Harborview Medical Center – I was an orderly on a psych floor. It was an amazing experience. Let’s just say One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest isn’t far off.
  • Volunteer Worker for T.E.A.R.S. – I built houses and schools in the Dominican Republic for a number of months, totalling about a year. It was a experience I’d never take back and the DR is like a second home to me.

// Where I’ve Studied

  • Cascadia Community College
